About Us
Cooley Farms dates back to the early 1900s when the Cooley family bought the current land. Passing through generations, they built their first packing shed, which current farmer James Cooley grew up working in. James joined full-time after high school. Knowing they needed to diversify from solely peaches, they started with just 6 acres of strawberries, which is now 115 acres and the largest strawberry farm in South Carolina. They changed the name to Strawberry Hill USA in 2000, added a cafe in 2001, and are now a destination for both locals and travelers wanting to enjoy fresh produce and delicious ice cream.
