Jon and Michelle Stauffer started Colonial Milling after buying their antebellum home in 2006. Since then, they have been working on restoring their home and farm to what it is today. They use the same heart towards restoration and history to grow and mill their own heirloom corn varieties. The focus is on managing healthy soils, turning it into a healthy, living and bionutrient rich soil that improves the taste, color, and nutrition of the corn.
