Jon and Michelle Stauffer started Colonial Milling after buying their antebellum home in 2006. Since then, they have been working on restoring their home and farm to what it is today. They use the same heart towards restoration and history to grow and mill their own non-GMO, heirloom corn varieties. Their focus is on managing healthy soils, turning it into a healthy, living and bio-nutrient rich soil that improves the taste, color, and nutrition of the corn.
